We have our NEW 2013 Program Dates! September 7-8, 14-15,
21-22, 2013 The pilot program
is a condensed but thorough training in equine massage. 24 hours of classroom work include equine anatomy,
muscle physiology, massage techniques, assessment of the horse, record keeping, interacting with clients, and starting your
business. 24 hours of hands on instruction and practice is also included. Successful completion of the program
requires 100% attendance, grades of 80% or better on written exams, and passing a hands-on practical exam on the final day.
Upon completion of the program, students will receive a diploma. All tuition paid by graduates
is immediately credited to their student account should they wish to pursue additional certification through Michigan
Equine Therapy Academy in the 300 hour program. Tuition for the Pilot Program is ONLY $725. Hands on training will take
place at Pine Meadow Ranch in Novi, MI (near I-96 and Beck Road). Classroom training will be at the Suburban Collection Showcase
Conference Center nearby. Class hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with one hour lunch break each day. This will be a small, select group that will be asked to evaluate and validate
our new program. Students will receive a textbook and certificate of completion after passing a written and practical
exam. There will be a one-time discount (50%) for approved students enrolling in the pilot program. Tuition paid will also
be credited towards future course work for certification.This is a great opportunity to get into the program on the ground
floor!
Applicants for the Pilot
program must meet the following requirements: Be 18 years of age or older before the first day of class Have a high school diploma Be
eligible to study / live in the U.S. Have
previous horse experience Demonstrable
horse handling ability
Sign
a waiver of liability pursuant to the Michigan Equine Liability Act. Previous massage / body work experience preferred

Long term plans include having a comprehensive curriculum that
is competitive with other schools in the country. The 300+ hour curriculum will include: equine behavior,equine anatomy, physiology,
gait analysis, massage techniques, essential oils, herbal remedies, myofascial techniques, Reiki, first aid, equine law, business
and marketing, clinical hours, special events. We plan to add additional modalities continuously as the school grows. This
means that we will be your long term educational partner for continuing education, as well as a great place to get your career
started. We already have verbal agreements with key instructors in the area who are anxious to come on board and teach you
what they know!
