The pilot program is a condensed but thorough training in equine massage. 24 hours of classroom work include equine anatomy, muscle physiology, massage techniques, assessment of the horse, interacting with clients, and starting your business. Tuition paid for the pilot will be credited to the extended 300+ hour certification course we hope to be offering in 2012-2013.

Long term plans include having a comprehensive curriculum that is competitive with other schools in the country. The 300+ hour curriculum will include:  equine behavior, equine anatomy, physiology, massage techniques, essential oils, herbal remedies, myofascial techniques, Reiki, first aid, equine law,  business and marketing, clinical hours, special events. We plan to add additional modalities continuously as the school grows.  This means that we will be your long term educational partner for continuing education, as well as a great place to get your career started.  We already have verbal agreements with key instructors in the area who are anxious to come on board and teach you what they know!

Hands on training will take place at Pine Meadow Ranch in Novi, MI (near I-96 and Beck Road). Classroom training will be held in a Metro Detroit location. Class hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with one hour lunch break.

This will be a small, select group (no more than 10) that will be asked to evaluate and validate our new program.  Students will receive a textbook and certificate of completion after passing a written and practical exam. There will be a one-time discount (50%) for approved students enrolling in the pilot program. Tuition paid will also be credited towards future course work for certification. This is a great opportunity to get into the program on the ground floor!
